In the WTF news of the day, Paramount has decided to push Jon Chu's G.I. Joe: Retaliation all the way back to March 29,2013.
Reports trickled in tentatively then a flash flood ensued as the news broke that Paramount has pushed the new G.I. Joe movie back by almost a year. Paramount is said to be seeking a 3D conversion for the film, said an exec, ""We’re going to do a conscientious 3D job because we’ve seen how it can better box office internationally." Yeah, forget the fact that the film is about a month a way, has several trailers, posters and interviews out there in the media sea. Obviously, Paramount isn't confident in their product and thinks that they will need the price-boost of 3D spectacles for increased revenue. The wait between Prometheus and The Amazing Spider-Man just got a little longer.
